Remembering a friend...

Chad Pratt
#10M
Chad Pratt drove the
#10M Late Model Class car.
He lived in Bath, Illinois. His home track was Macomb Speedway but he
could also be found racing at Lincoln, Spoon River and Macon Speedways.
He began racing in
1992 in Hobo Class at Spoon River Speedway just to have fun. His first
win was in 2000 in Sportsman Class at Spoon River Speedway. Career
highlights included, winning Features at Spoon River Speedway in
Sportsman Class, Feature wins at Macomb Speedway in Late Model Class,
Several other awards including: Rookie of the Year, Most Improved Driver
and Sportsman of the Year.
The thrill of racing
for Chad was taking it to the edge fast with that left front wheel off
the ground. His most exciting racing moment was his first Feature win,
also every Feature win and racing with the Big Boys. He was most proud
of making the Show at the Race of the champions at Spoon River Speedway.
His racing hero was Shannon Babb.
Of racing, Chad always
said, "Don't let the big dogs run you off the porch; they can be beat
too!!!"
