Forward: For two years new standards were set in racing coverage by www.illinoismotorsports.com. This same extreme photographic coverage is back with a new format, look, and name. Yes, www.midwestracin.com is here! This new online publication by Ted Connolly and The 62644 Foundation, Inc. is actually a re-birth of Illinois Motorsports. You will find the new version a vast improvement in many ways while retaining those things you loved. Our coverage of the grass roots of motorsports in the Midwest will be in the same style as before with the emphasis being on taking you to the places you can't go: to the garages, to the pits, and to the hearts of those who love this sport of racing in all it's forms. It is not so much about the big names of racing, it is about your neighbor down the street who works hard to have his ride ready for the first heat race.
So we will be seeing you back at the tracks around the Midwest and I can tell you that it will feel great to be back again.
